So in the following text I am speaking about the different chakras, and each chakra is more like a universe in which you rest, play, suffer, and possibly spend your entire life. These universes can expand, they can contract, they can become a prison, or they can become the most fascinating adventure of your incarnation. The point of incarnation is to understand why you are moving through these chakras and why you are living inside them. A chakra is not something inside your body. You are inside the chakra. This is what must be understood. You live inside the chakra, not the other way around. The way people commonly see chakras is therefore completely mistaken. Chakras are universes. You must find out in which universe you are dwelling right now, and whether the chakra you inhabit is a prison or a revelation, a path to knowledge, a path to expansion. This is what you need to see. This is what you have to discover. When I speak about Svadhisthana, Svadhisthana is a universe, it is an ocean. It is water. It is femininity. In Bhuta Shuddhi, for example, you meditate on Apas, the element of water. The element is symbolized by the grey half crescent moon, the shimmering of subtle water. What you have to understand is that in my left handed Vamachara I guide people into the happiness of Apas, into the ocean element itself. It is water. It is the feminine principle. Within this field there is lust, there is desire, there is absolute happiness. When I use the term Svadhisthana, I mean everything that belongs to desire. Lust, sexuality, and above all love. Svadhisthana is love. Anahata is not love. Svadhisthana is love. If two people adore each other and love each other deeply, they are two molecules of primordial creation at the moment when the One divides into two. If two people are madly in love, they must live this until the end. This is their incarnation. There is nothing higher. When people say you must move upward, you must get out of it, you must do something worthwhile with your life, they are mistaken. Life is already worthwhile for those two lovers who are in love. They do not need to accomplish anything. They need to remain in love. If two people step out of this love, or if one of them begins to think this is not enough and there must be something better, then they are fundamentally mistaken. What happens then I will now explain.
The Svadhisthana molecule is extremely unstable. If we compare the different chakras to molecules, then Svadhisthana is probably the most fascinating universe you can enter and play inside in the human realm. It is everything about passion and desire. The moment you enter desire, which is precisely the territory most spiritual systems try to avoid, you gain access to states of consciousness that are nearly impossible to reach by any other path. You can experience immense happiness by yourself, on a mountaintop in Tibet or sitting alone in a café, completely fulfilled within your own awareness. But you will not reach the realms of superior organic bliss that arise when you desire another human being. People say become happy with yourself. They say I do not need anyone, I meditate, I practice breathwork, I live in high consciousness. That is fine. Remain there as long as you wish. Yet there is another step, and that step is total helplessness in the presence of the other. The difficulty is that within this organic network of bliss, within the sexual current itself, there is inherent instability. This instability can only be integrated by a consciousness that knows it is unstable. That is why most spiritual systems avoid Svadhisthana. They prefer Anahata, Ajna, Sahasrara. They move upward. If you map the chakras as universes of consciousness, Svadhisthana is the most volatile. It has a strange pull, either downward toward Muladhara or upward toward Manipura. Because prana naturally tends to rise rather than descend, in the Shakta Tantra tradition of Forbidden Yoga we deliberately guide the energy downward instead of upward, precisely because Svadhisthana, left on its own, will push upward. You may find yourself in an extraordinary sexual universe and think this is paradise, and suddenly, without noticing, you are propelled into Manipura. Once you are in Manipura, you are trapped. To leave Manipura may take a month, a year, seven years, or an entire lifetime. You do not realize how the solar plexus swallows you. From Manipura, the movement is rarely downward. Usually you ascend further into Anahata. After years of playing power games, you conclude that power is empty and you rise into the heart, yet by then you have lost Svadhisthana. That is the tragedy. Once established in Anahata, it becomes extremely difficult to descend again into Svadhisthana. Only through the kriyas practiced in Forbidden Yoga, which are extraordinarily precise, can prana be pushed back down to Muladhara so that it may rise again into Svadhisthana consciously. This is the real purpose of Bhuta Shuddhi and Nyasa. Their aim is not abstract purification but the restoration of access to Svadhisthana. You may perform all the kriyas of Forbidden Yoga, but if you do not understand that we are living inside Svadhisthana, you are lost. What happens otherwise is predictable. You taste the paradise of Svadhisthana, you rise into Manipura and remain there until you drift into Anahata. From Anahata you may join meditation circles, search for love across the world, speak endlessly about compassion, yet something essential has been lost. From Anahata consciousness moves into Vishuddha, where everything becomes analysis, discussion, argument. You believe you are still in the heart, but the living waters of Svadhisthana were abandoned long ago. This is the condition of the world. This is the crisis of civilization itself mapped onto the chakra system.

If you see two squirrels playing in the trees, have you ever really watched them, what an unbelievable dance of nature that is. The way they tease each other, chase each other, vanish and reappear, press close for a second and then explode apart again. That is the primordial interplay when the One became the many, expressed as squirrels. If you as a human being enter that same state of play with another, there is nothing higher you will ever achieve. Do not fool yourself. There is nothing beyond it. There is no Nobel Prize waiting for you. There is no crowd applauding you after some brilliant speech. There is no amount of money that can buy that kind of ecstasy. When two people find that soft spot of shared happiness, there will never be anything beyond that moment. So what are the teachings of the Forbidden Yoga lineage? We bring you into the bliss of Svadhisthana. We bring you into a happiness so intense you have probably never experienced anything like it before, and we help you remain there. Because if you cannot remain there and you drift into the power games of Manipura, one day you wake up and say, oh fuck, this is not happiness.
